Tunisia: Three thieves disguised under niqab arrested

Tunisian Security forces nabbed Sunday three men disguised under niqab in capital Tunis.

The men who stoke fear were summoned for inspection but they ran away. Security forces however managed to arrest them, tunisienumerique.com reports

After search, the men turned out to be thieves. They reportedly disguised in view of stealing shops. Security forces discovered on them stolen objects.

The North African country is reeling with a climate of fear after three suicide bombings rocked Tunis last month. The country has been under state of emergency since November 2015 following three other attacks that killed at least 50 foreign tourists, mostly British.

The security measure prolonged early this month for one month grants security forces exceptional power including ban on all gatherings, raids on public or private places without a prior authorization from the judiciary.
