US Corteva Agriscience Sets up in Casablanca its African Regional Hub

Corteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, has decided to install its North-West & West Central Africa regional headquarters in Casablanca, Morocco.

The Casablanca office will act as Corteva Agriscience’s business center for customers, partners and consumers in its main regional markets in Africa, bringing farmers the right mix of seeds, crop protection and digital solutions to maximize their yields and improve their profitability in these markets.
This development brings the number of Corteva Agriscience offices across the African continent to four, with other offices operational in Cairo, Johannesburg and Nairobi.

“Moroccan agriculture has made great progress in terms of modernization and diversification and it made it a strategically sound location for Corteva Agriscience to establish its regional headquarters. This is a natural recognition of Morocco’s role as the agricultural hub for the North-West & West Central Africa (NWAF & WCAF) region,” says Prabdeep Bajwa, President, Corteva Agriscience, Africa and Middle East.

Corteva Agriscience has developed some of the best talent, technology, innovation and R&D capabilities that will uniquely position it to transform the food system by helping farmers grow better, abundant and healthier crops while using fewer natural resources.

“The opening of the Casablanca office is an exciting opportunity to develop and strengthen our partnership with farmers, the authorities, public and private actors in the agricultural sector, in Morocco and the African markets,” said Alain Pescay, Commercial Director of Corteva Agriscience.

Corteva Agriscience provides growers around the world with the most complete portfolio in the industry — including some of the most recognized brands in agriculture: Pioneer, Encirca, the newly launched Brevant seeds, as well as award-winning Crop Protection products.
